The following series of questions will ask you about your inner experiences, imagination, and daydreams.
Here, we’re interested how our imagination may shape and be shaped by our mental health. There are many ways in which the conscious and unconscious mental processes we use every day in our imaginative thinking are entangled with our health. This is because our imagination is vital for activities like memory, attention, emotion regulation, planning, and decision making.
With reading being an activity steeped in imagination, we want to better understand how this and our mental health are intertwined. This might help us figure out how to improve mental health across many different populations, and will enrich our idea of what it mean to, and how we can, ‘repair’.
